VX 2100 Quattro

The Recoup VX 2100 Quattro is a high-capacity Shower Waste Water Heat Recovery (WWHR) system designed for sports centres, swimming pools, leisure facilities, military buildings and other projects with multiple showers. Four VX 2100 ShowerPipes work together to recover heat from centrally collected shower wastewater, significantly reducing domestic hot water energy demand.

How it works

Every shower sends valuable heat down the drain.

The VX 2100 Quattro captures this heat from wastewater and transfers it to the incoming cold water supply before it reaches the hot water system.

This reduces the energy required for domestic hot water production while maintaining the same level of comfort.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the VX 2100 and the VX 2100 Quattro?

The VX 2100 is designed for individual vertical shower installations.

The VX 2100 Quattro combines four VX 2100 units into a high-capacity system suitable for centrally collected wastewater from multiple showers.

The system is suitable wherever wastewater from multiple showers can be collected centrally. Our technical team can advise on the most suitable configuration.

We recommend to use a  qualified installer to install the VX 2100 Quattro. Proper installation ensures maximum efficiency.

As any other drainage system, there is a chance of clogging due to hair, soap and other particles. We therefore recommend regular cleaning of your shower areas and install a hair filter to prevent clogging.

The system uses a drainage pump to transport that collected wastewater to the top of the Quattro. The pump requires maintenance (depending on make and model). The Quattro itself is 100% maintenance free.

With a Recoup showerpipe, any type, the hot water buffer size can be reduced by up to 40%. An instantaneous water heater or any other type will experience a considerable lower load and will use less energy in increase its lifespan.

There are no restrictions on water heater types, the function of the showerpipe WWHR will remain unchanged and equally beneficial for reducing energy consumption.

For the drainage pump, electricity is needed. The Quattro itself requires no auxiliary power, it operates fully passively.

Yes. Drinking water and wastewater remain completely separated within the heat exchanger, ensuring safe operation and compliance with relevant standards.

Because the VX 2100 Quattro is designed for centralised heat recovery from multiple showers, the recovered heat is normally returned to the central domestic hot water system rather than directly to individual shower mixers.
